Women are an important part of society all over the world. Many women work at home, on farms, or in various other jobs. Women play an important role in food security worldwide, both in producing agricultural products and preparing food for their families. Unfortunately, women themselves are among the first victims of food insecurity globally. In some countries, such as Afghanistan, women suffer the most due to wars and extremist governments. Many women, in their roles as mothers, worry about their children’s meals or live in war zones like Sudan, Ukraine, Gaza, etc. On this day, we want to draw attention to women in these lands.
