Since the beginning of 2024, various changes in the prices of agricultural products have been observed in Tajikistan. Some products have become more expensive, while the prices of others have decreased.
According to data from the Statistical Agency of Tajikistan, the prices of vegetables, fruits, sugar, and flour have significantly decreased in the first ten months of this year. During this period, the price of lemons decreased by 16.4%, apples by 2.4%, and grapes by 1.6%. The lowest prices for apples and lemons in the markets in October were 4.80 somoni and 5.50 somoni, respectively.
Experts attribute the decrease in prices to both seasonal factors and an increase in domestic production.
