As we observe the International Day of Peace, the world seems hardly concerned about the ongoing wars and the fear of their expansion. The Middle East has been burning for a long time due to the wars in Gaza and now Lebanon. The effects of the conflicts in Libya, Syria, and Iraq have not yet been erased. Ukraine, Russia, Sudan, and many other countries are engaged in wars with their neighbours or within themselves. This is happening at a time when the process of climate change is accelerating, and the ecological ship of this planet is about to sink. Millions of families have been affected by war, and millions of people have been displaced. Even though relief organizations are working with all their dedication and strength, they are struggling to cope with the magnitude of this human challenge. Despite all these crises, there is still hope for peace. There will come a day when people grow tired of war, destruction, and killing their brothers and sisters, and they will want to build a better world for everyone.
